Build your life!

Thank you for visiting our website.  We hope that you will find this site informative and useful in your decision making.  We decided to keep our website simple without any fancy things so that you can navigate through it more easily and get to the information you want.  However, no matter how hard we try to have a comprehensive website, we cannot.

You see, it is our people that make our school a great place to learn and not our website.  We have invested our resources in our staff and faculty so that you can build your life.  That's right, build your life.

We do not want to just impart our knowledge to you or have you gain skills, we want you to learn to think critically about your future and, only then, will you be able to build your life.

Training you is easy; the founding members and administrative staff at United Healthcare Careers College have been doing it for a long time.  In fact, the president of UHCC, Dr. Aram Tomasian, has been an administrative specialist for the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology since 2005.  The hard part is to get you to build your life.  We believe our approach is one that you should consider when making your decision.

Our approach is simple; it is about you, our staff and faculty, the community, and the employer who is looking for you.  So peruse our modest website and if you have questions about planning your future, please call us, because we want you to make and informed decision before signing up.

In order to operate in the State of California as a training institution, an institution must only abide by local business laws.  There are continuing talks about establishing a governing body and if you want information, please visit the Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education (www.bppve.ca.gov).  The school currently is not accredited by any agency recognized by the Federal Department of Education.  As such, we are not able to offer Title IV (i.e. grants and guaranteed student loans).

As Dr. King said, true education focuses not only on knowledge, but on character development; especially developing the traits that lend the graduate to becoming a successful practitioner in the healthcare industry.  Thus, through well thought out workshops the student receives the type of training that allows personal growth while learning skills and knowledge necessary making the transition from training to work seamless.

Our mission is to prepare students who will learn the things necessary to serve themselves, their families, and community.  We will not be an organization driven by ideas, instead, we will rely on insight to lead us to great ideas.  We will not commit to anything until we have answered all the questions.  By doing this, we will help our students build their lives.

That every time we look at our successful graduates, we see hope for our students.

  5. Love of Country

This set of values may look strange to you.  You might be thinking these set of values has nothing to do with running a business.  We argue that it has everything to do with running a business.  If our personal values are not part of our every day professional lives, then our lives are empty.

These values are what we are guided by when developing our curricula.  We use this basic set of principles when we set out to get you ready for your future.
